Sacred River, A Meditation  
The sun settling silently on the big muddy, grandfather of all rivers as thoughts come and go and we mourn and celebrate all that life offers. My sacred river, churning and turning the secrets of all born to its code. But someone forgot to tell the river that it’s secrets were not to be entrusted with the likes of ordinary men. So the Mississippi flows south on the compass of life, an open oyster for all the world to behold the failures and successes of untold thousands waiting to be witnessed… all in good time… all in good time. Where the Earth and Sky Meet

Relax and empty your mind of all concepts and temporal concerns. You are here to observe without prejudice… mindful of the environment you know nothing of. You don’t know what the sun or moon is or any other phenomenon by name or definition. The universe is there for you to ingest without any conceptualization. Let your first impressions be the sum of complete innocence as though you were the first human being to see the universe from the earth point of view. Myth of Er- Plato and Jung

In Plato’s Myth of Er, each soul returns from a previous life and chooses its attributes for the next return to Earth. These qualities make up the daimon or acorn which is representative of the unique character of that soul.
