The Mystic is Nine

“Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic” -Van Morrison

Find something, anything, which is so encompassing that in a given block of time it enthralls you to get lost together in unconsciousness. Such things are beyond space and time, it is bliss and one only questions the indignities of why when not doing this transcendent work. Indeed others drown in the waters the mystic swims in.

The Natural Bridge to the Universe

Many take shelter from feeling too much within
Some will tell you it’s a mortal sin
But to know when all else fails
When all is lost down the streets of desire
The truest feeling is within the heart
That’s the only real freedom there is
The only thing they can’t take away from you
Thus to fear the gift of solitude
Is to be deprived of the comfort of one’s own company

Myth of Er- Plato and Jung

In Plato’s Myth of Er, each soul returns from a previous life and chooses its attributes for the next return to Earth. These qualities make up the daimon or acorn which is representative of the unique character of that soul.
