dragons nine

Dragons Nine

What should one do, stand still in the rain, umbrella open, guarding every inch of your body against the raindrops falling asunder like water in a perpetual storm? Or, maybe one should throw the umbrella aside and splash head-on into the blissful water shouting hallelujah amidst the splashing of each puddle in defiance of the proper way of society.

We find ourselves wanting to be as brave Helios, resilient, driving his chariot, full steed ahead into the darkest of night giving safe passage to the sun god and his short victory over the night. Yes, such a flight it may take much from you but what it gives in return can’t be denied. What should one do but defeat the dragons nine?

I have Parkinson’s disease and on any given day I gravitate into the conservative walker under the umbrella or push my way thru the crowd, rain, and mud flying all over me. Almost out of a dream, I read some time ago that if one goes into the direction of there dreams, things begin to happen as if out of a book, one chapter after another. The universe provides to the dreamer situations that are needed to discover itself. Call it destiny, call it magic, call it love, I call it life and say ‘yes’ to it.

  1. You seem taken by a strong and positive spirit JC and it is uplifting.
    I love these lines: ”
and splash head-on into the blissful water shouting hallelujah amidst the splashing of each puddle in defiance of the proper way of society “.
I also like the last line and Life contains all of it.
